Congrats, GRAD!

I used to think that guys were harder to take pictures of. They aren't going on pinterest for ideas or googling how to best pose...for most guys their selfies are limited and they change their profile pictures once a year, if that. Funny thing is, for these reasons sometimes they are EASIER to take pictures of. It was refreshing and a TON of fun doing a guy portrait again! Granted this handsome hunk is my baby brother, but that only gives him more reason to be ornery during a shoot. :P

A June Wedding

The morning came with bright sunshine and white fluffy clouds- a splendid day to get married outside with God's perfect creation as the backdrop. Capturing moments as they unfold is always one of my favorite things to do, but this time it was extra special watching one of my best friends since I was little glide down the isle to meet her man ready to become one.

It was a beautiful wedding and I was so honored to be the one to freeze the memories so that everyone can look back on the day for years to come...for that is what I think photography is and have come to love it with a passion that sometimes surprises even myself.

BOY!!

This little darling was quite the mover! He was awake the whole time kicking, punching, and munching on his hand. It absolutely amazed me how advanced he seemed for just a week old! 

I got my baby snuggles in and enjoyed capturing his little personality. <3

I was so surprised at his ability to hold up his head!
