Elena Grace

This post is a bit late for this little cutie is already growing up! Crazy how fast they grow, that's why I think it is so important to take lots of pictures all the way up through! I probably take too many, but in my opinion there is no such thing as too many pictures!
Little Elena and her adoring family were such fun to take pictures of! Big brother was a great helper, especially in making his parents smile! ;) (Cause don't we all know it- adults can be the hardest to get genuine smiles out of!)

Enjoy your day! :D

Pregnancy Photoshoot

On a chilly yet sunny day I drove on over to a couple's house to do a pregnancy photoshoot outside their home. It was such a laid back and fun shoot! Their love and excitement for their first child was catchy and I left excited to meet their new little one when the time comes :)

She definitely has that beautiful pregnancy 'glow'! (:

The blue and pink bands are because they are being surprised with their child's gender- they aren't having twins!

Diamonds in the Grass

It was a usual morning, after waking up I pulled my drapes aside so that my indoor plants could catch the morning rays when BAM! A million diamonds sparkling in the grass up at me like someone had taken a giant diamond and exploded it casting its diamond dust all over. After changing out of my PJs (Cause don't ya know, my neighbors think I am crazy enough) I grabbed my camera for a freezing morning wake-me-up adventure!

I had one of those Ah-Ha moments. I'm always using the power of the Internet to further my education and I ran across a guy giving a pitch for his online university program. Something he said-one simple phrase- changed how I now take pictures. Perfect exposure is something that I am always working on and now thanks to the random internet guy, it just got a whole lot easier...anyway your eyes are glazing over so proceed to the (hopefully) interesting stuff :)

Of course my trusty companion was with me. Doesn't her face just say, "Seriously? Your taking another picture of me?" She also wasn't too happy about having to lie down.  ;)

And there you have it! A bunch of pictures of grass! Happy Monday! :D

Carter James

Exactly one month ago God blessed this world with a precious little bundle of joy- my very first nephew!

Isn't he darling? Doing newborn shoots is always a fun treat! :)

I don't normally make collages, but am kinda liking how they can turn out! A learning curb that hopefully will be mastered ;)

I also got to be there when the siblings first met each other! Layla was so cute with him!

This little guy will always be surrounded by love! <3
